CW6000
Reproduced from a Chinese export porcelain punchbowl, circa 1760 - 1775 with exacting detail, high fire cobalt and 22 carat gold. The bowl is large and is dramatic on a sideboard or as the centerpiece of a grand table. Decorated like one of the revered tastemakers of the 20th-century, visionary art collector Abby Aldrich Rockefeller. She and her husband, philanthropist John D. Rockefeller, Jr., kept the 1770s Chinese export porcelain punch bowl that inspired this reproduction at Bassett Hall, their Williamsburg, Virginia, home.
