What Women Want - The Little Things: Syracuse Rose

Alright fellas, I've asked a plethera of ladies what they find romantic and to share with us the things they truly appreciate that their men do (or wish they'd do). And the majority of women said that it really comes down to the "little things" and showing that you really "know her".

I've divided their comments up into 5 different topics:

The Little Things
Knowing Her
Flowers
Get Aways & Surprises
Jewelry

"The Little Things"
What the ladies find romantic:

"I'm a proponent of the impact of the 'little things' - offer to cook dinner. It doesn't even have to be a surprise, sometimes it's more romantic to be asked what I'd like most to eat and then have it prepared for me as promised :). That way, I can look forward to it and tell my friends and family about how wonderful you are." -AD

"I am also a fan of chocolate for no reason, cups of tea, and post-it notes with 'I love you's' or hearts written on them." -AK

"Renting a movie the guy knows the girl will enjoy more than him, but doing it for her." - (The future Mrs. Kris Kvalheim)

"He once made me a bath with bubbles and flower petals, he lit candles and had soothing music playing and told me to relax and he was making dinner. SO romantic!:)

Anything heart felt will just turn me to a puddle of goo. One year for V-day he wrote me a letter in a beautiful little booklet he had bought. The letter was totally gushy and all about how much i meant to him and how much he loved me. It's definitely a treasure." - LA

"A CD of songs that remind you of the person you are giving it to." - NM

"Nothing cheesey, over the top. Just thoughtful. Do something SHE loves to do. Like, I would love it if my man said, 'Okay ____, let's stay in, I'll make you dinner, and we can watch pride and prejudice and cuddle.' haha. Nothing fancy." - NT

Here's a little thing that was inspired by my husband's peanut butter and jelly obsession. Everyday when he comes home from work he bee-lines it straight to the pantry and makes himself a PB&J sandwich. So I thought, why not surprise him one afternoon with a cutesy heart-shaped, love-inspired, PB&J? It's the "little" personal things that make a huge impact. Make your valentine something sweet for her (or him) to come home to, but the key is: it has to be something you KNOW she loves.

Every mom has a set of heart shaped cookie cutters. So hit up a mom and ask her for her heart so that you can create your sweetheart an edible treat.
