What Women Want - Flowers: Famille Verte

"Never underestimate the impact of flowers, especially for no reason." - AK

What the ladies find romantic:

"Although I say I don't want flowers, fresh, local and seasonal flowers once and a while never fail to make a girl feel loved, thought of, and appreciated." - AD

"Flowers (NOT carnations) are always a win, but not the finale" - LK

"I know it's basic, but I can never get enough of guys sending flowers - especially to my office so everyone knows I'm special." - SP

"I remember one time my husband did this really sweet thing where throughout my work day, for every 2 hours, he had someone deliver single roses with little messages attached to them and then finally at the end he came in with a bouquet of roses with the last piece of the message on it and I put the whole thing together to see the entire message. It was really sweet." - RC

"I'm an old traditionalist... I'm always thrilled with flowers and chocolates, especially if it's a custom box from See's with only my favorites in it. Then I don't get stuck with half a box of crap that's not worth the calories." - MK

"Flowers, a little love note, a surprise special treat/snack (favorite food)." - KF

"Flowers are very romantic especially when they're for no reason at all. But the key to flowers is to make them personal. I love unique things and colors. For my birthday my husband gave me a single coral colored rose. I love how he chose a color that was different." - LA

"For our first Valentine's Day we were actually apart, but my fiance (at the time) sent me two dozen of these beautiful small roses in all sorts of different colors. It was really sweet because it wasn't at all what I was expecting." -DM

You know you don't only have to use vases to house those beautiful flowers you give to a loved one (or to water the ones you are given). Unusual and interesting shapes make the perfect receptacles. Since all of our tea pots, coffee pots, sugar bowls, and creamers are made to hold liquid, they make cute and interested vases as well.
